I've spent two decades living, working, and building relationships across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and Southeast Asia, in the languages, on the ground, through multiple cycles of geopolitical disruption and commercial opportunity.

That experience is the foundation of everything I do today.

 

Current work

Through Anzenix, my London-based consultancy, I help mid-market dual-use technology and advanced manufacturing firms in Europe and North America understand and remediate their Indo-Pacific supply chain exposure with direct relevance to the compliance obligations now imposed by the EU, UK, US and Australia. 

 

Professional background

My career has spanned business development, strategic partnerships and consulting across fintech, cybersecurity, and dual-use technology. I have led and supported six-figure enterprise engagements with financial institutions, government agencies, and publicly listed firms, and advised European, Israeli, Australian, and North American companies, governments, and investors on risks and opportunities across Northeast and Southeast Asia.

 

I regularly share analysis through media commentary and public speaking — covering Indo-Pacific geopolitics, supply chain risk, and cybersecurity policy. A selection of recent engagements is available here.

 

Academic background

I hold an MA in Cyber Politics and Government from Tel Aviv University (Magna Cum Laude), where my thesis examined the evolving role of the private sector in national security through the cyber domain; a question that has since moved from academic to policy-critical. I also hold a BA in Modern China Studies from the University of Hong Kong (First Class Honours) and security certifications including CompTIA's Security+ and Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+).

Native English. Full professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and French. Working knowledge of Cantonese and Hebrew.

Dual UK/EU (French) citizen.
